Hi Everyone:

This page is for people to share their story and their experience with other Yorkie people. Would love to hear your opinion of the yorkie breed. Just email us at talk2thepaw@yorkiesrule.us and we will be happy to share your information with other yorkie family.

Pamela Richardson Dallas,TX- I just wanted to tell people that are thinking of buying a Yorkshire terrier that you can NOT find a more loving and caring puppy. I have had my yorkie for over 8 years now and a day does not go by that I dont thank GOD that I have my Misty. She has made my life full of love and happiness and I cant imagine my life without her. So if you are thinking about buying a Yorkie DO IT, It will be the best thing that ever happened to you.
Karen W  FL- When I found Nizmo, he was the light in my heart. He filled my heart with love and joy and I take him with me everyday. He is by my side 24/7 and He makes my life worth living. I thank Bonnie for breeding and having nizmo. I too think that Yorkies are the only dog to have!

Patricia D. FL- I had a Yorkie for over 14 years and he passed away from old age. I could not find myself getting another one after having rocky, BUT so many people told me that I should give another yorkie the opportunity to have the love and care that I gave rocky. So I went looking when I knew I was ready to get another one. I fell in love with a little girl yorkie and named her Roxanne. I will never forget rocky, Roxanne makes the void I was feeling in my life complete. I just want people to know that if you have lost a Yorkie and feel like you will never find another one to take the place of the one that you lost. Please don't look at it like you are looking for a replacement, look at it like you filling a empty void in your heart. The new yorkie will never take the place of the one that you lost, BUT you have the opportunity to give that love and affection to another Yorkie that will also give it right back to you even more. I did not get the opportunity to buy a Yorkie from Bonnie, But I asked her to post this just to let people know that you should never say you will not get another one, When the one you had gave you so much love and affection, Trust me ALL YORKIES give that affection over 100%. That is the quality and love of the breed and I will not have it any other way. May GOD bless all Yorkie lovers.

Corey Anderson  Tampa,FL: Hi I too did not have the opportunity to get a Yorkie from Bonnie, But my story is very important and I want everyone to hear it. I bought a Yorkie puppy from a breeder in Tampa,Fl. I did not know about the difference in the quality from AKC to CKC until it was too late. My Yorkie is CKC registered and the lady told me that the daddy is AKC and the mommy is CKC but I can register than with both AKC and CKC, She also told me that the Yorkie would not get any bigger than 5lbs. She breeds yorkies, Maltese, and some other kind of dog I don't know. But anyway I believed her. My Yorkie is 9 months old now and she weighs over 12lbs!! She does not look like a true yorkie and has alot of white all over her. The papers that she gave me were CKC papers. I asked for the AKC papers and she said, she never sent them in because AKC charges to register a litter? SO I cant register my Yorkie AKC! She looks more like a Maltese than a yorkie and I am very disappointed that the breeder lied to me just to sell me a puppy. I know this puppy is not a purebred Yorkie, no-one that sees her thinks she is a yorkie. Althou I love her very much and wont give her up for nothing. I still am very angry that this lady lied about the puppy. I can see why everyone says to stick with AKC! They take great pride in making sure that mixed dogs are not registered as purebred dogs. So PLEASE be very careful if you get a yorkie, Make sure it is AKC and nothing else, you might pay a little more for a AKC puppy, But if you are really serious about getting a yorkie and want the best then you wont mind.
